About our canvas prints:

The canvas:

We use 415 gsm artist canvas with a vivid bright white surface.  It is the best medium since this does not affect or degrade any of the colours being printed.  Therefore,it delivers the most vivid results with depth and contrast.

The frame:

We use 38mm deep kiln-dried wooden stretcher bars.  They are light- weight and do not warp with heat because all the moisture has already been removed. This provides for the most stable frame choice.

 Image resolution:

A print can only be as good as the source from which it is printed.  The industry standard is 300 dpi: which is used in all professional media. So a resolution of 300 dpi onto a fine-grade canvas will produce the highest level of detail.

Life span of canvas art prints:

The latest ultra-chrome UV inks provide enhanced light fastness and durability over dye-based inks.  UV inks contain light stabilisers and under the right conditions can keep prints looking new for anything up to 100 years.

Canvas prints are hand-made items and the end product can differ greatly.  It can take years of experience to print and manufacture high- quality canvas art.  However, we take the greatest care to ensure that you are completely happy with our product.
